We offer on-site industry inspection services (NDT, condition monitoring performance testing) throughout project or asset life-cycles, including construction, commissioning, operating (in-service) and decommissioning. Our procedures comply with the highest quality standards required in the Oil & Gas, Power Sector, and Building Construction.
GIS’s Radiation Protection Officers (RPOs) are certified by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) and are stationed at our operating locations within Qatar. They are responsible for monitoring and overseeing the use and safety of radioisotopes. MECC regulations require that any establishment involved with equipment or materials emitting harmful radioactive energy must employ an RPO.
A Radiation Protection Officer's (RPO) duties include training and instructing personnel in the handling and use of radioactive materials, particularly regarding protection from radiation exposure and the safe transportation and deployment of sources. The RPO's responsibilities also include maintaining exposure records, applying to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MECC) for operating permits, responding to emergencies, and implementing corrective actions in the event of any radiation-related incidents.
RT Reports are generated by our SAPPHIRE Program which has been developed in‐house and is capable of:
We permit Client access to the GIS Portal to enable browsing of all RT reports online device.
